Are Pentavite products dairy-free?
Dairy is NOT an added ingredient in Pentavite products.
Please note: The products have not been analytically batch tested to confirm the complete absence of dairy. If you have dairy allergy, we suggest that you consult your health professional about the suitability of the product.
Are Pentavite products gluten-free?
Gluten may be present in in some products at extremely low amount (less than 20 ppm - parts per million). Gluten below 20 ppm is not required to be declared on the label in accordance with the Therapeutic Goods Administation (TGA).
Are Pentavite products Halal certified?
No porcine ingredients are used in the manufacture of Pentavite products. However, Pentavite products currently do not have Halal certification.
The majority of Pentavite products are vegetarian except for:
- Gummies products, which contain bovine gelatin
- Multivitamin Liquid for Infant and Multivitamin + Iron Liquid Kids (Gold), which contain fish gelatin
No alcohol was added during the manufacturing process. However, ethanol may be present in very low amount (<1%) from the vitamin raw materials.
Are Pentavite products vegetarian-suitable?
The majority of Pentavite products are vegetarian except for:
- Gummies products, which contain bovine gelatin
- Multivitamin Liquid for Infant and Multivitamin + Iron Liquid Kids (Gold), which contain fish gelatin
How do I store the Multivitamin liquid products?
An unopened bottle should be stored below 25°C. Once opened, the bottle must be stored in the refrigerator. Do not freeze.
Can I add the multivitamin liquid product(s) to warm/hot food or liquid?
It is not recommended to add the multivitamin liquid product(s) to warm or hot food or liquid as it may denature the vitamins in the formulas. However, they can be added to cooled or room temperature foods such as yoghurt, smoothies, cereal etc.
Are there artificial colours in Pentavite products?
There are no artificial colours in Pentavite products.
How do I measure the dosage for Pentavite liquid products?
Use the enclosed syringe and wash after every use. Please ensure the syringe is clean and dry when in contact with the product.
How do I wash the dosage syringe that comes with Pentavite Infant Multivitamin Liquid or the Vitamin D3 & K2 Kids Liquid?
You can rinse the syringe with warm water when finished and allow to dry prior to the next use.
For allergens, what is the difference between ‘no added’ and ‘free from’?
The term ‘free from’ indicates that the product has undergone analytical testing to confirm the complete absence of the stated allergens. The term ‘no added’ specifies that the allergen has not been added during the manufacturing process of the product. However, the product has not been analytically tested to confirm the complete absence of the stated allergen. Unless a label specifically states, ‘free from’, we advise that you contact our customer care team before commencing supplementation to confirm the absence of stated allergens.
Can I give my child who is under 2 years old the Pentavite gummies or chewable tablets?
Pentavite gummies or chewable tablets are not recommended for children under 2 years old.
How do I store the Pentavite gummies or chewable tablets?
The gummies and chewable tablets should be stored in a cool, dry place, below 25°C.
